A wip and a better picture of my childhood home
TBH, every time I see other artists shit on cheap art supplies, it kind of makes me throw up a little. And I don’t mean being critical of the quality but straight up “Don’t judge me, I’m using {insert brand name here}.” Like???? Sometimes that’s all you’ve got, most if not all of my stuff is that brand. What does that say about me and my art? Am I somehow lesser because I don’t make enough to spend a lot of money on my artist tool box or my brushes?
I did this papercraft for an art project based on a short story for school (it says eight years ago but i’m pretty sure it was longer than that.) So, considering I was BALLS DEEP in my obsession for Poe, I picked Ligeia, and specifically the ending of Ligeia.
He had a weird thing for his character’s new wives turning into their old dead fiancés.

WHAT WE COULD HAVE HAD.
Disney was in the process of trying to revamp the 20,000 Leagues under the Sea rides at the California and Florida parks. One idea was to modify the existing Nautilus’ into the Atlantis Expedition’s main ship, the Ulysses and change the ride scenes to fit with the movie. One scene would have almost certainly been the fight between the Ulysses and the Leviathan.
